Work is ongoing in the Hutzler Gallery area of the Health Sciences Library. Painting is currently underway and we thank you for your patience during this time.
I wanted to update you with an approximate timeline:
- Painting will continue into next week.
- New carpeting will be installed in the weeks following.
- Some half walls will be constructed after that. Lighting and electrical wiring as well. This takes us into October.
- Furniture is on order but not expected until approximately early November.
While we are waiting for the furniture to arrive we will, time permitting, replace some furniture into the new space so it can be used until the new furniture is installed. We will let you know if and when that time arrives.
In the meantime please look forward to this new expanded quiet study space. Brand new furniture, power to all of the tables, varied seating, adjustable height desks… it’s going to be lovely.
