  1. I am sorry to see that the trial expired RIGHT before the end of term while I am working furiously on a presentation. I am sorry to see this because I had not paid sufficient attention to the expiration date of December 11th. It was VERY useful to me, full time doctor with 2 kids and a robust schedule, to be able to access this manual for no cost or need to travel to the library while working on my paper, typically during the hours of 11_00 and 2AM. So yes, I miss it, and yes, it was useful to a great degree, and I am thankful for the chance to have had it at my fingertips. Please accept my suggestion that any trials be done to coincide with the semester whenever possible. Also, your staff is very accommodating and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who work on Sunday.

    Very truly yours,
    Lisa A. Marrero, MD

  2. Dr. Marrero, Thanks for your comments and we will take your suggestion about timing under consideration. We are glad to hear you found the product useful. Please note that we do have a basic guide to AMA style on our web page at http://library.nymc.edu/informatics/amastyle.cfm

I have passed on your comments about the library staff to the Director of the Library and Access Services Supervisor. Thank you. It is always wonderful to hear nice things about our staff.

  3. You’ll be happy to learn that the library has decided to purchase the Online AMA Manual of Style. So you can look forward to continued use in the future. Merry Christmas!
