Free Interlibrary Loan requests extended through March 1st

The Health Sciences Library is happy to announce we are extending our pilot project for free interlibrary loan and document delivery through March 1st, 2015!

Please take advantage of this opportunity for your research and study needs.  Our goal is to better support researchers, faculty and students in obtaining resources the library does not hold, delivered in a convenient and timely fashion.

If you have not registered for ILLiad (our online Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery system), please do so and click the New Users link.

Once you are registered, you will be able to request articles and loans.

The easiest way to obtain article requests is directly through PubMed and clicking the NYMC Article Linker button.

If you receive a message that we do not own the article, click the ILLiad link to place the request.

You will be prompted to log into ILLiad if you are not already logged in.  Once on the ILLiad request page, the article information will automatically be populated into the form.  Simply click Submit Request.

If you need a copy of an article that is only available from our print collection, you can request it through ILLiad as a Scan On Demand request.  We will copy the article and email you the PDF.

Please feel free to email sarah_hughes@nymc.edu or call 914-594-4200 with any comments or feedback on the use of free interlibrary loans and document delivery services.  We look forward to helping you!
