New Alert Services page on the HSL website

Do you want to know when a new article is published by a journal in your field?  What if the library received new resources that fit search criteria for your research? Or if new articles on a topic are indexed in PubMed? Or every time your research is cited by others? There’s a way to automatically receive this information as soon as it’s available:  Alert Services!

The Health Sciences Library website now includes a page on Alert Services.  This page provides instruction for receiving journal table of contents alerts and catalog and database search alerts.  These types of alerts can be received by email or RSS through popular feed readers like Google Reader and Feed Demon.

This page can show you how. Take a look and get started setting up your own customized alerts right away!

If you have questions or comments contact the Reference desk (914-594-4210) or talk to your librarian liaison who will be happy to help you set up your alerts.
