The Health Sciences Library welcomes the Summer Trainees. Trainees include high school and college students who have an interest in medical sciences, and highschool science teachers interested in a research curriculum. These lucky students will be engaged in research, working with mentors in labs at the College.
A series of special seminars has been planned, including topics such as career opportunities in the bio- medical sciences, good laboratory practices, effective presentations, etc. This morning trainees learned how to search the biosciences literature using PubMed, Scopus and Web of Science databases.
