The Capozzi Library seeks to provide access to all required textbooks through Course Reserves. You can easily find these titles in the library catalog, NYMCat, under the Course Reserves section.
Textbooks are organized by course name and instructor, with the course number included when available. Use the search feature to quickly locate the course or instructor you need.
Materials are available in print, electronic format, or both. Print copies are kept in the Reserve Collection behind the Library’s front desk and can be borrowed for 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day loan periods, depending on demand.

After selecting your course, you’ll see a list of textbooks available for that class. Each record provides important details about the item, including call number, link, and loan period.
For example, in the screenshot below for Exercise Physiology, there are two entries for Berne & Levy Physiology:

- First title:
- Record URL → Click to access the eBook online.
- No call number or loan period because it’s digital.
- Second title:
- Item type: 1-Day Reserve → Borrow for one day.
- Location: Main Library Reserve → Behind the front desk.
- Call number: QT104 B525 2024 → Use this to find the book.
- Status: Available → Ready to check out.
If you don’t see your course listed please submit a request to have it included. We are happy to review, acquire, and add your items to the course reserve collection.
