Each year, SPARC has highlighted open access initiatives via International Open Access Week. This is an opportunity for researchers, publishers, librarians and students to reconnect on the essential values of open access: scientific collaboration and innovation, transparency and sustainability, and equity of access.
Openaccessweek.org posts numerous events online and in-person throughout the week, including information sessions on open access, copyright considerations, open data, peer review, and other topics of interest to researchers.
