The 29th Annual Faculty Author Celebration: Awards Summary

The 29th edition of the New York Medical College Faculty Bibliography is now available online! The bibliography represents publications from the 2021 calendar year – an impressive 1,110 citations authored by NYMC faculty.

We were so happy to finally meet in person on September 21st to celebrate our authors. Thank you to the Educational Media team and Capozzi Library staff for making this year’s unique event successful, and to Chancellor Dr. Edward C. Halperin, Vice President for Research Dr. Salomon Amar, and Deans Dr. Jerry L. Nadler, Dr. Marina K. Holz and Dr. Robert W. Amler for their warm support and leadership.

This year’s celebration highlighted the following articles for exceptional research impact. The Library used Web of Science, Journal Citation Reports, and data from PlumX to compile the awards. We chose to use these proprietary databases (accessible to all via the library) for their standardization, precise metrics, and ability to document and track specific citations and content.

Congratulations to all of NYMC’s scholars for a year of hard work and prolific contribution to the scientific body of knowledge.
