The Health Sciences Library, at the recommendation of Internal Medicine Associate Clerkship Director, Mitra Rezvani, MD, has
recently purchased access to docLogica, accessible at https://www.doclogica.com/.
Students, faculty, and staff can register for accounts on the docLogica site using their NYMC email address. Current residents will need to use the email address residing in our library system.
docLogica bills itself as “a comprehensive, searchable database of disease characteristics and test accuracies.” It can be used as a differential diagnosis tool and also provides pre-test probabilities and likelihood ratios for various diagnostic tests along with references to studies providing the evidence base for these diagnostic test statistics.
In addition to the web interface, docLogica is available as an app for iOS and Android (coming soon).
