Over the last several months we have been contacted about physical items in the library needed by faculty teaching courses or students doing research and we have come to campus to make a hand-off. As of today, we are making it official. The Health Sciences Library now offers curbside pickup. Curbside pickup time is Friday mornings from 10-11 AM beginning tomorrow, June 19, 2020. Pickup location is outside the MEC entrance.
In order to place a request for curbside pickup, the preferred method is to place a hold on the item in the library’s Online Catalog, NYMCat. In order to do so you must have a NYMCat account. Once you are logged in, follow these instructions to place the hold: https://ask.library.nymc.edu/faq/220410. If you don’t have a library account, register for one using the “Register Here” link on the Online Catalog landing page or call or email Marta Ambroziak at the library’s main number 914-594-4200 or marta_ambroziak@nymc.edu. She can both set you up with a library account or make arrangements for pickup. Note that this library account is separate from the NYMC credentials most NYMC users use to log in to access library resources.
Materials will be placed in a brown bag with your name on it for contactless delivery.
