Did you know you can access several library resources as an app on your mobile device?

Mobile apps can make it second-nature to access the latest research in your field and to know the best evidence for clinical care. However, there are many apps out there that have not been reviewed. Luckily, the library has created the Library Apps Guide to provide you with authoritative, top-of-the-line clinical, research, and learning tools.

You can also find these library-subscribed apps under the Resources tab on the Health Sciences Library homepage.

Apps are listed on the side of the guide in red. Select an app to read about its uses and features, then select the Access tab for instructions to download.

These apps were designed to simplify information retrieval for busy clinicians and students. Find concise answers to your questions by use of:

  • Differential diagnosis
  • Visual diagnosis
  • Clinical recommendations
  • Drug comparisons and interactions
  • Medical calculators
  • Assessment tools
  • E-textbooks
  • Journals
  • Other medical reference as appropriate

The apps are provided by the Health Sciences Library at no cost to registered library users.

For further assistance selecting or using an app, contact a reference librarian at (914) 594-4200, or e-mail us.
