This New Year will start with the first of 6 eclipses. The “Super Blood Wolf Moon” eclipse will be visible in the northern hemisphere on January 20 beginning at 10:30pm with full coverage expected at about 12:12am. January’s full moon is known as the Wolf moon, a Super moon is when the moon is closest to the Earth, and a Blood moon is so called when the sun shadows the moon in an eclipse giving it a reddish tinge!
It may be cloudy for us that evening. The forecast for the 20th-21st is rain and snow. But mark your calendars and remember we are off on January 21st for Martin Luther King Day.
