The Health Sciences Library presents a new class on data management.
Funding agencies and publishers increasingly require researchers to articulate a data management process. In order to respond to these requirements, researchers will need the data management knowledge and skills that support the long-term preservation, access, and reuse of data.
We will provide an introductory nuts and bolts approach to data management that covers the following:
- Tangible ways to better manage your data
- How to better document your research to comply with upcoming data management and sharing requirements
- Tools that can be used to better organize and document your data throughout the research process
- Platforms and tools that can be used to provide access to your research data
Intended audience: This class is recommended for anyone who does research or is planning research in the basic sciences, clinical or public health realms. Ideal for graduate students, medical students, post doctoral fellows, residents, and all research faculty.
