The Health Sciences Library has recently added EMBASE to our resources. Embase is invaluable as a means for conducting biomedical and/or pharmacologic research. It contains over 30 million abstracts and indices from published, peer-reviewed literature, in-press publications and conferences. While there is some overlap with PubMed, it also has unique content. A major advantage to using Embase is it also indexes articles in such a way that it pulls up additional records even if they are indexed PubMed because it searches differently. These are just some of the reasons that Embase is an absolute must when conducting systematic reviews. Embase can be accessed via the Database page on the Health Sciences Library site.
