The Health Sciences Library is now offering a trial of Isabel, a diagnosis decision support system. This database is available until April 1, 2015.

For tablet/mobile access, download the Isabel app from iTunes or Google Play and enter the following:

Password: isabel15
To begin using Isabel, enter the patient’s clinical features on the left-hand side of the screen and click “Get Checklist”. This will generate a list of possible diagnoses:
When you select a diagnosis this will bring up a new screen with links to point-of-care content:
Click on any of the links on the left-hand side of the screen to retrieve point-of-care information from the library’s subscribed databases. For example, clicking on the Unbound Medicine link for a diagnosis of sleep apnea retrieves the following:
