Trial Database: Films on Demand – Health and Medicine Video Collection

The Health Sciences Library is offering a trial of Films on Demand – Health and Medicine Video Collection from October 1 through October 31. This web-based, streaming video service hosts more than 2,500 documentary-style films on all aspects of health and medicine, including films such as Asylum: A History of the Mental Institution in AmericaDrug-Resistant Pneumonia, and Pancreatic Cancer: Search for the Cure. Some of the videos are short, two-minute segments while some are up to two hours long.

An ideal resource for students and faculty, Films on Demand videos allow for personal, group, and distance education use and can be linked to course syllabi and DCDB.
