New York Medical College is currently hosting the US Holocaust Museum exhibit, “Deadly Medicine: Creating the Master Race” at the 19 Skyline Drive location on the Ground floor.
The exhibit closes tomorrow, Thursday, September 4, 2014, at 8PM.
“Deadly Medicine” examines the early 20th-century international eugenics movement through to the Nazi regime’s “science of race.” This thought-provoking exhibit includes scans of documents, photographs, film footage and various artifacts that show how scientists and physicians played a role in Nazi health policies. The exhibit also touches on implications for medical ethics and social responsibility today.
