Beginning today, you are now able to book study rooms, classrooms, and Harvey rooms on your own by using the following links:
– Study Rooms (B104, 106, 107): http://calendar.library.nymc.edu/booking/studyrooms
– Classrooms (Novitch Computer Lab Rm 108 and Classroom 109): http://calendar.library.nymc.edu/booking/classrooms
– Harvey Rooms (Harvey A and Harvey B): http://calendar.library.nymc.edu/booking/harvey
These links can also be found through the HSL Homepage by going to the “Facilities” tab and clicking on “Meeting Rooms.”
Available time slots will be shown in green. To book a room, select the type of room you require (classroom, study room, or Harvey room) and then the time slot. Time slots are divided into 1 hour periods with a maximum of 2 time slots allowed per patron per room type. If more time is needed, please contact Access Services at 914-594-4200 or come to the Circulation Desk for assistance.
When booking a room, it is required that you input your full name, email address, and library barcode number. Your information will be verified by a staff member before the appointment is confirmed. Email notification will be sent to let the patron know whether or not the appointment has been confirmed. When the room is booked, an email will be sent to you with a link to either confirm or cancel the room booking. You MUST respond to the link in the email within 1 hour of placing the appointment in order for it to appear in the calendar.
The Bernard Room and Archives Room (B104H) are also available for use. However, you must call or come into the library to book these rooms. Classroom 108 (Novitch Computer Lab) and Classroom 109 may be booked online, but library classes and meetings will have priority.
If you need Educational Media Services, Special Permission (for food), or extended time, please contact the library to fill out the necessary form.
