Faculty Book Corner Video: Donald Risucci & Kevin Wolfe discuss “Guide for Researchers in Surgical Education”

The latest Faculty Book Corner video has been added to the Health Science Library’s YouTube channel. On February 25, Donald S. Risucci, PhD, and Kevin Wolfe, PhD, from the Department of Surgery discussed their recent book chapter with Marie Ascher, Associate Director, USER Services at the Health Sciences Library. Their chapter is from the book, Guide for Researchers in Surgical Education, edited by Jeannette Capella, Steven J. Kasten, Susan Steinemann, Laura Torbeck and distributed by Ciné-Med Publishing, Inc. The book was written by a group of researchers from the Association for Surgical Education (ASE).

The Guide is designed to meet the needs of researchers engaged in the practice of evaluating and developing programs to the betterment of surgical education.  The focus of the book is research design and analysis, especially in light of technological developments such as the use of simulation in surgical education.
