Questions on the Go? Text your librarian!

The Health Sciences Library is happy to be adding another way of communicating with you. We’re now using Google Voice to offer text messaging (SMS) as an “Ask A Librarian” service.  So…

Text us!

  • Maybe a question comes up over lunch? You need an answer? Text the library!
  • Need a clinical reference range or a citation? Text the library!
  • Maybe something simple like library hours, a phone number or directions? Text us!

Text us at 914-338-8398 (914-EDU-TEXT). Be sure to add us to your contacts today so when you need an answer, we’re there!

If you don’t text, we also take reference questions by chat and email http://library.nymc.edu/Asklib/RefQuestion.cfm — and of course, by phone! (914-594-4210)

Oh, but just a reminder: Don’t drive and text. No reference question is that valuable!

Want to learn more about Google Voice? It will be the subject our our Sept. 14, “Useful Web Gizmos” session so stay tuned.
