Sarah Ampalloor, School of Medicine Class of 2026, and Giana DiMaria, Director of the Culinary Medicine Program, along with students and faculty from New York Medical College and Westchester Medical Center have highlighted the restorative power of food by bringing us The Culinary Medicine Cookbook available here at the Phillip Capozzi, M.D. Library.
From supporting cardiovascular health and lowering blood sugar levels to reducing cancer risk, this mouth-watering collection of nutritious recipes is organized by the medical condition each dish targets for therapeutic management, treatment, and prevention.
We believe that food is medicine and have selected many recipes which are also on display in our Art Meets Science Exhibit at the Phillip Capozzi, M.D. Library. Happy cooking. Happy eating. Happy healing.
