Medical Education Grand Round: Gamification in Education

Join us for a presentation on gamification and incorporating games into your education experience.

Gamification is the use of game elements in an educational setting, and is a great way to add new and interesting elements to your lesson plan or learning experience.

This presentation will go over:

  • What is gamification?
  • How educators can use gamification in their classes and lectures.
  • Examples of games and activities that can be included in your lesson.
  • What resources are available to add game elements to learning?

While the primary audience is educators, all are welcome to attend.

We welcome our presenter for this medical education grand round, Matthew Mendelsohn, MLIS – Our very own User Services Librarian of the Phillip Capozzi Library.
