TEDMED 2012 in Nevins Auditorium April 10-12, 2012

Experience TEDMED 2012 free via live HD Simulcast in the Nevins Auditorium, MEC Building. These sessions are not available on the web. April 10-12, 2012.  See the world’s most creative minds talk about the future of health and medicine. Come watch what many have called a “life-changing experience.”

TEDMED is the world’s only TED-licensed event focused solely on innovation and breakthrough thinking across all of health and medicine.

Topics to be explored by TEDMED speakers will include neuroscience, microbiology, surgery, oncology, stem cell therapy, bad science, Alzheimer’s, robotics, public health, game science, obesity, wearable tech, disease evolution, patient choice, virtual anatomy models, neuroengineering, the nature of imagination, and dozens more.

An expected 1,300 have paid up to $5,000 to participate on-site in Washington, D.C. at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to foster cross-disciplinary collaboration and learning.  The conference will also be simulcast to teaching hospitals, medical schools, research institutions, university life science departments, state and federal government agencies, health-oriented corporations and non-profits across the nation to more than 50,000 forecasted participants.
