I think this is a really valuable asset for us going into 3rd and 4th year. It could be useful, to an extent, in 2nd year also. I am a 1st year so I don’t have much use for it, but from speaking with my father who is a physician, as well as a number of upperclassmen medical students at NYMC and other medical schools, they find these resources to be extremely handy to have immediate access to. Most notably, they thought JH ABX guide, Pocket ICU, Harrison’s, 5-min Emergency Consult, and Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests to be very very useful (“musts!”)

It would be fantastic to have access to this full set of programs!

I installed uCentral for my blackberry. WOW! It’s pretty extensive, and very useful. The John Hopkin’s Antibiotic guide, Harrisons and Pocket Guide to Diagnostic tests are all fantastic and run snappy on my older blackberry. It’s easy to navigate with clear explanations and to the point clinical information. This suite is much more useful than dynamed in my opinion.
